Thoughts are always coming and going and affect how we feel. Imagine each thought is a train and your brain is a busy train station. Some thoughts speed by, some thoughts linger and some park themselves at the station for a long stay.

If a thought parks itself try not to run from it, judge it or change it. Just notice it and observe it as an outsider. If you feel uncomfortable, know that the feeling will pass and so will your thoughts.

Spend 2 minutes sitting quietly and allow the thoughts you’re having to be just visitors in your mind, let them come and go.
